Hello, survivors!
Since the release, everyone has raised many questions in the discussion forums and feedback forms, and we've gone through them one by one. This update focuses on fixing and optimizing daily survival aspects including scenes, planting, traps, electricity, and cold storage. It also adds a batch of organization and shortcut operation entries. Specific content is as follows:
Planting Behavior Fix: Fixed the issue where characters would go do other things first and only return to work at the end when queuing up planting, fertilizing, and tilling after confirming seeds.
Trap Bait Optimization: Fixed the issue where bait would be wasted when placing it in traps with nearly depleted durability; in such situations, the panel will now directly prompt that bait cannot be placed. Also corrected the display of trap capture count.
Solar Panel Efficiency Fix: The power generation of the initial large solar panels at the College Student's Home now matches panels of the same specifications, and the materials returned when dismantling have been aligned accordingly.
Mouse Cage Recipe Completion: College students and warehouse managers can now also obtain recipes for medium and large mouse cages; existing saves can also unlock small, medium, and large tiers by improving crafting proficiency.
New Mouse Types for Mouse Cages: Guinea pigs and lab mice can now also be placed in mouse cages.
Advanced Materials Trading Value Increase: The trading value of Advanced Materials such as refined Sheet Metal, iron rods, and iron components has been increased to maintain consistent ratios with the materials consumed to craft them.
Fuel Generator Auto-Start Switch Optimization: Fixed the issue where the fuel generator's "auto-start" switch displayed incorrect status when batteries were lacking.
Electrical Performance Fix: Fixed issues where main indoor lighting wouldn't turn on, flashlights wouldn't turn off, and Refrigerator freshness notifications wouldn't refresh after power restoration; loading saves or returning from exploration will also no longer waste an extra unit of fuel.
Cold Storage Fix: Fixed the issue where the refrigeration units in the cold storage at the Warehouse Manager's Home would return to an inactive state after re-entering the game or returning from exploration; also fixed the issue where contamination could remain in unopened cold storage, preventing the cleaning process from completing.
Preservation Freeze Fix: Fixed the issue where, in certain situations, the shelf life freeze for items in brewing barrels and unopened cold storage could fail, causing items to still spoil.
Endless Mode Optimization: In endless mode, the warehouse manager's home cold storage room, left cabin, garage, and right area will have their unlock tasks gradually released during the first few days of the game.
Coffee Table Adjustment: The pre-placed coffee table in the college student's home has had its "dismantle and recycle" function removed; coffee tables purchased and placed from the store are unaffected.
Audio Optimization: Reduced the density and volume of mechanical chainsaw hit sounds, and also lowered the Drone audio effects.
New Storage Category Labels: When opening storage Furniture like shelves, Closets, and Refrigerators, you can now add a category label in the title bar (18 types including Food, Fridge, Tools, Materials, etc.). No more relying on memory to distinguish between identical-looking cabinets in a row. Labels are just identifiers—what you store is entirely up to you.
New Tab Quick Switch: Interfaces with tabs like inventory, Cookbook, crafting, shop, brewing, and rat cages can now use A/D to switch tabs left and right.
New Repair Shortcut Key: After opening the function menu for the Front Door or Window, press E again to directly start Fix Door or fix the Window, without having to search through a row of buttons.
New One-Click Feeding: The rat cage interface now includes a one-click feeding button that batch-feeds Food into the food storage based on remaining shelf life from shortest to longest. The left side also connects to the Refrigerator tab, allowing you to directly use Food from the Refrigerator for feeding.
Warehouse Manager Home Optimization: Fixed pathfinding issues where Drones couldn't pass through and corrected the reversed orientation of gas stoves. Also reduced stair obstruction on the first floor, and several previously immovable decorative items in the warehouse can now be removed and moved.
Exploration Map Fix: Fixed the issue where Map content would be blank when pressing M a second time to open the large Map in exploration scenarios.
Exploration Scene Optimization: Fixed collision issues in the abandoned hospital where characters could easily get stuck behind curtains.
Furniture Pathfinding Optimization: Improved the pathfinding mechanism for Furniture in some safe houses to avoid rare instances of getting stuck.
College Student Home Optimization: Fixed the issue where wall slot directions were reversed in the second-floor rooftop sunroom.
Flowerpot Display Fix: Fixed an issue where tilled soil in flowerpots would occasionally not display properly in certain situations.
Rebirth Settlement Display Fix: Fixed an issue where all items on the Planning Points settlement page would incorrectly display as +0 when entering the next round by clicking "Rebirth" from the main menu save list.
Backpack and Container Optimization: Fixed an issue where crafting stations would occasionally have scrambled slots in special cases; also optimized the issue where large-capacity vehicle trunks would still appear empty even after placing a small amount of items.
Interface Lag Optimization: Added a new "Interface Lag Optimization" option in Advanced Settings (enabled by default), which provides additional optimization for interface smoothness when enabled.
Text and Layout Optimization: Fixed an issue where some text in the flower arrangement panel did not change with language switching, and added missing text for fuel generator auto-start, furniture tags, and other areas.
We will continue to optimize the game based on everyone's feedback in the near future.
If you encounter other bugs and issues, or if existing fixes are not working, please feel free to submit your problems to the feedback form, and we will address them as soon as possible!
Good luck to all survivors—stock up on supplies and survive to the end!
