Dear Earthling,

It's time for another Community Dash update!

Backend Update
Good news! The backend update has just been uploaded to the Steam Beta branch.

This update includes several major improvements:

A completely new save system.
Players can now load previous save states.
Quick Save and Quick Load functionality has been added.
Issues with windowed mode have been fixed.
Display scaling has been properly implemented.
The game engine has been updated to the latest version.

Updating the engine is an important milestone toward the multiplayer update. The latest engine version provides significantly better Steam multiplayer integration, which will make future multiplayer development much smoother and more efficient.

Please note that this beta build has not been thoroughly tested yet, that's where you come in! I'd greatly appreciate it if you could report any bugs or issues you encounter while testing.

Join The Beta Branch
If you'd like to participate in the beta test, simply follow these steps:

Go to your Steam Library.
Right-click on Out of Orbit.
Select Properties.
Navigate to the Betas tab.
In the Beta Participation dropdown, select beta.
Close the window.
The game will now always run the beta version.
