This is a big one!
Winning the ball back now leads to a better chance than a set attack does: a defence that has not got players behind the ball concedes more. Overall scoring is unchanged, so the fast break is worth more and the set attack slightly less.
A sweeper is half the cover on a fast break, because they are a forward who has not got back yet. Attacking quickly is the counter to the system.
Hurling and camogie: the half-forward line now contests the puck-out alongside the midfielders. A side with tall, strong half-forwards wins more of its own restarts.
Two-point scores are struck from beyond the 40 metre arc, and single points from inside it.
Goals are struck from around the large rectangle instead of from distance.
Camogie's two-pointer is played as a sideline cut, from the touchline.
Points struck from a wide position cross the endline between the posts instead of outside them.
Nothing on the match screen announces a score before the pitch shows it. The momentum ticks, the heading, the caption and the Skip button all used to change a beat early.
Between scores the pitch plays out the match's real possessions: the right team has the ball, passes go to a player in range, and turnovers happen when they actually happen.
The player on the ball is ringed.
Saves show on the momentum bar as an X, in the defending county's colours.
At the final whistle the winner's name stands out and the loser's fades, as on the results page.
The sweeper stands in front of their full-back line instead of behind it, and is ringed in white.
A penalty goal appears on the replay scoreboard, and shows as a goal in the timeline and on the momentum bar.
The timeline waits for saves and sendings off, not only for scores.
The Skip and Replays buttons are gone.
