Hello Developers & Designers!
With the official launch of Luditect, the Day One Update is now live to make your initial experience much smoother, faster, and more accessible! Based on the feedback we received from the very first moment of launch, here are our first performance and user experience-oriented patch notes:
Comment Block Adjustment: The bounding box/hitbox selection issue for the Comment Block, which allows you to group your scenarios, has been completely resolved. Selecting, moving, and resizing blocks is now much more stable.
User Experience (UX) Enhancements: Several interface improvements have been implemented to streamline your workflow while designing story flows, making canvas navigation and node management significantly smoother.
Example Project Assets: All character, location, and item assets within the Ashenveil Chronicles example project—designed to help you learn the software—have been updated with higher-quality and refreshed versions.
Pattern and Symbol Support for Labels: You can now add custom patterns and symbols to task labels on the Kanban board. This feature was developed not only to increase label variety but specifically to ensure that developers with color blindness or visual impairments can differentiate task stages much more easily.
Optimization Improvements: System resource consumption has been heavily optimized, particularly as your projects grow larger and your databases become more populated. Tab switching speeds and canvas loading times have been significantly improved.
Minor Bug Fixes: Several minor interface and local storage (IndexedDB) micro-bugs identified within the codebase have been permanently resolved.
We are continuously working to make Luditect the best possible game design tool. Please continue to share your suggestions and any issues you encounter via our Discord server or at [email protected].
Happy designing!
