BREAKOUT BABY is a Pac-Man–infused first-person horror roguelike where you help one very unlucky baby escape to the surface.
You run through maze-like floors, scoop up pellets, dodge creatures and try very hard not to get eaten. Every corner matters. Every mistake hurts. Every floor wants you and your baby gone.
Also, give the baby a gun.
Your goal is simple:
Collect every pellet. Survive the monsters. Find weird gifts. Get to the next floor. Do not lose the baby!
Each floor is full of creatures with their own behaviors, strengths and weaknesses. Learn how they move, use your baby to reveal nearby enemy positions and keep going before the maze gets the better of you.
And yes, sometimes you shake the baby awake. This is the only time that is allowed, okay?
BREAKOUT BABY started with one very cursed thought: What if Pac-Man was first-person, scary, roguelike and somehow about childcare?
From there, everything got worse in the best way.
The game is fast, tense and strange on purpose. It rewards clean movement, quick reactions and learning from every terrible run. Gifts can change your chances. Go-Go Juice can help you survive. The baby can be surprisingly useful.
Mostly.
If you like arcade survival, horror roguelikes, monster panic and games that make you say “what did I just play?”, I hope BREAKOUT BABY gives you exactly that feeling.
Play the demo, wishlist the game and let me know what you think.
Now please get the baby out of there.
