We’ve just released a major update to The Yard: Escape from Prison Demo, focusing on interactions, progression, and overall game economy!
Here is what’s new in this update:
Enhanced NPC Communication & Quests: Talking to NPCs is now smoother and more responsive. We’ve overhauled the quest interface so you can easily track your tasks, progress, and rewards.
In-Game Trading & Shop System: You can now spend your hard-earned cash! Buy essential items directly from vendors and fellow inmates to help set up your ultimate escape plan.
Rebalanced Economy & Consumables: We rebalanced the economy to make cash and items feel meaningful. Additionally, food and drink stats have been reworked so you no longer end up hoarding endless stacks of food—managing your survival needs now requires actual strategy.
Bug Fixes & General Enhancements: Various minor fixes and gameplay tweaks based on community feedback.
