The wait is over! The official demo for The Yard: Escape from Prison is officially live and free to play right now on Steam!

Get a taste of what life behind bars feels like—and more importantly, how you’re going to escape it. Whether you play solo, on the couch with a friend via split-screen, or online in up to 6-player co-op, your journey to freedom starts today!

What you can experience in the Demo:

Follow the Routine: Stick to daily chores, attend roll calls, and stay under the radar so guards don't get suspicious.
Scavenge & Craft: Search the yard, workshops, and kitchen to turn junk into essential tools for your breakout.
Cooperate or Compete: Work with your friends to coordinate a group escape, or betray them and be the first one over the wall.
Upgrade Your Stats: Level up your attributes to unlock new escape routes and specialized items.
