We just pushed another update to the Grandma Left Me a Building demo. Most of this round came straight from your reports, so keep them coming.
Steam achievements. Anything you have already earned unlocks the first time you open this update, and your progress carries over to the full game.
Locked upgrades now show their real name instead of "Unknown", so you can see what is coming. They still stay locked until you have the reputation for them. The Gutters upgrade now needs 20 reputation instead of 45.
A red exclamation mark showing up on tenants with nothing wrong in their detail panel. Part of their requirement list was being hidden.
Tenants staying unhappy forever after a temporary event effect had run out. Happiness is now recalculated every morning.
Happiness changes from events not showing up until something unrelated happened in the building. They apply immediately now.
The agent refusing to sign a contract while your building was empty. Flats held for tenants who are still moving in are now explained instead of being reported as "no vacancies".
The agent not showing which of a tenant's requirements you were missing.
A tenant's requirement list not refreshing while the agent panel was open.
Notification icons flickering back and forth and spamming their hover sound when the mouse rested near their edge.
The notes on the left of the screen, like move-in timers, covering a tenant's traits and their descriptions when you right-clicked them. The notes now slide out of the way while you are looking at a tenant.
Moving up and down the building on a laptop trackpad. You can now scroll with two fingers or the mouse wheel to move a floor at a time, and the screen edges are easier to reach on high resolution displays.
Tutorial pop-ups blocking clicks on whatever was underneath them, which could leave you unable to press the button the tutorial was asking for.
The tutorial pop-up covering the hover text of the question mark notification, so you can read what it says.
If you run into anything else, come tell us on the Steam discussion forum or on our Discord. We read everything.
