Loomsong Chronicle Idle - Build 0.739
Build 0.739 expands party leadership, adds a new shield-based combat ability, improves early-game combat and loot variety, and makes expedition activities much easier to follow.
New Leadership Proficiency
- Added Leadership, a proficiency exclusive to the main character.
- Leadership gains experience from enemy and wildlife kills, mining, woodcutting, herb gathering, skinning, opening chests, and completing contracts.
- Each effective Leadership level grants every party member:
- +1% maximum Health
- +0.5% outgoing damage
- Added five recurring Leadership Masteries and three Legendary Leadership Masteries.
- Added original card artwork and clearer descriptions for the complete Leadership progression.
Recruitment Coupons
- Added The Empty Chair, a Legendary Wayfaring Trait that can appear from level 1.
- After a qualifying expedition wipe, The Empty Chair grants one Recruitment Coupon when at least one recruited party member is lost.
- Added Second Muster, a Leadership Mastery that grants an additional Recruitment Coupon after a qualifying wipe.
- Recruitment Coupons hire one recruit for free before aurels are considered.
- Solo wipes, Pinnacle defeats, and ordinary returns to town do not grant coupons.
- The Recruitment Hall now displays your available Recruitment Coupons and whether a hire will use a coupon or aurels.
Shield Throw
- Added Shield Throw, a long-range tank ability that requires a shield in the active weapon set.
- Shield Throw targets enemies that most need additional threat and applies a taunt on impact.
- Additional-projectile bonuses become additional shield bounces instead of launching duplicate shields.
- Each bounce seeks a nearby enemy that has not already been struck.
- Shield Throw damage scales with the equipped shield’s armor.
- The Shield Throw Ability Book is available from the Bookseller.
- Shield Throw can be copied through Scribing and used in Ability Weaving.
- Added a new four-frame, top-down spinning shield projectile animation.
Activity Progress
- Added overhead progress bars and activity icons for:
- Mining
- Woodcutting
- Herb gathering
- Skinning
- Revive Kit channels
- Bare-hands revivals
- Attribute Volumes
- Lore Books
- Proficiency Volumes
- Reading and physical activities can display simultaneously without covering character nameplates.
- Added a dedicated bare-hands revival icon.
- Proficiency Volumes now complete through their normal reading timer and directly grant one proficiency level while preserving existing proficiency experience.
Early-Game Combat
- Ordinary expedition enemies now deal 10% less damage at level 1.
- That damage reduction gradually fades by level 10.
- Ordinary expedition enemies have 20% more Health at level 1, making opening battles less immediately lethal while still requiring sustained combat.
- Pinnacle bosses are unaffected by the level-one adjustment.
- Party-size scaling is now:
- +15% enemy Health per additional party member
- +5% enemy damage per additional party member
- +5% additional-enemy chance per additional party member
- Expedition population totals and roaming pack sizes remain unchanged.
Loot And Aurels
- Enemy aurel rewards now go directly into the party’s currency total.
- Aurels do not create a ground pickup or require a separate collection action.
- Expanded ordinary-enemy drop coverage across every expedition.
- Corrected missing drop tables in Sable Writ, Asterhome, Nhal-Serat, and the Vaelari Tide Courts.
- Increased equipment variety within each expedition’s drop families.
- Level-one equipment can now naturally roll zero, one, or two affixes.
- Book-family items retain their authored rarity without receiving equipment affixes.
Save And Loading Fixes
- Fixed an expedition-loading crash caused by an equipped Contract Notice using the wrong artwork lookup.
- Contracts now retain the correct expedition- and objective-specific artwork after saving and loading.
- Existing campaigns automatically receive the required compatibility repairs.
- Leadership, Recruitment Coupons, Shield Throw bounces, and woven Shield Throw abilities save and load deterministically.
- Older woven Shield Throw records are repaired without replacing or rerolling the woven ability.
- Save schema remains compatible with the current Steam Cloud configuration.
