- Priest new spec : Paladin, a hybrid tank. A new system included, called Devotion. Upon reaching level 10 and choosing Paladin, you are given one of your new abilities "Crusader Strike".
This ability on hit gives you one stack of devotion. Devotion (for now) is to the right side of your health bar as a Paladin, drawn as 5 squares. At max devotion, your next heal (HoT not applicable), holy damage, or shield is buffed by 35%. This will probably get tuned down in the future.
The Paladin spec comes with 4 other abilities, a charge/taunt combo, a long CD emergency heal, and a self targeted ground AoE.
- Two new priest passives, "United Faith" shares 35% of your shield with nearby party members, and "Righteous Conviction" which increases damage by 0.2% per point of Wisdom (probably will be tuned down as well depending on feedback).
- You can now respec at the same NPC you get your spec from.
- Functional, but the means to use it aren't yet implemented, but World Buffs can now be activated from the shrine next to Elaria in Ashvale.
- New equip slots, you now have two ring slots.
- New culling tasks available from culling master, slowly branching out to cover a broader range of enemies (Highwayman, Barbarian, Withered, Withered Spreader).
- All superior variant culling monsters now have a chance to drop a "Culling Crystal" which increases all damage to culling monsters on task by 15%.
- Aegon will be ready to continue off of Necromancy Pt1 with a new quest Necromancy Pt2, with new rewards for Part 2. Part 3 in patch next week
- Added clay as a minable resource.
- Added the recipe to create "teletabs", which currently can be crafted to travel quickly to Melis village. This is in preparation for the removal of the instant cast unstuck. These teletabs can be crafted with Elaria in Ashvale. Right click to use.
## Adjustments
- Slowly but surely moving most of our renderer over from macroquad/miniquad to pure wgpu. Not only does it better support modern graphics APIs, but should have better performance on a wider variety of GPUs, less rendering errors, overflows, and crashes.
