Event Intros · Rule Codex Rewritten · Conquest Themes in Main Menu
Story intro screens for all events, fully rewritten Rule Codex, six unlockable Conquest themes, plus optimizations and fixes……
Before entering any event, a brand-new Event Intro now unfolds first: every event has its own story illustration and narrative setup — one image, one scene, setting the mood before you decide whether to take part.
The intro clearly shows whether you can participate — when requirements aren't met (e.g. a Drill with no deployable unit, a Gambling Den with empty pockets), no entry option appears, and you can simply turn and leave from the intro.
For all events, "turn and leave" no longer pops a second confirmation — leaving settles immediately, without breaking your pace.
Covers all events: Treasure Chest, Conscription, Recruitment, Draft, Shop, Drill, Gambling Den, Buddha Statue, Flag Return, Danqing, Inheritance, Pass Trial, Marriage Tree, Naihe Bridge, and all unit encounters.
The Rule Codex in Settings has been fully rewritten: every entry now has accurate rule explanations, with illustrations placed alongside the relevant text, making the rules much easier to grasp.
All event types are now included in the Codex too — look up their rules anytime. Encounter a mechanic you've never seen? Just check the Codex.
Codex content is aligned line by line with actual in-game behavior — check as you play, whenever you need.
A new Conquest Themes option in the main menu: the six Conquest Mode theme songs (Wei·Spear to the Sky / Shu·Lone Lamp of Baidi / Wu·Gazing East from the River / Qun·Embers of Luoyang / Han·Hoarfrost of the Han Line / Neutral·Chasing the Realm) can now be unlocked and selected as main-menu BGM themes.
Selecting a faction's theme makes the main menu cycle that faction's unit portraits with lyrics shown alongside — matching the Conquest clear ending.
Unlock conditions: after clearing Conquest Mode with the corresponding Lord (Wei/Shu/Wu/Qun/Han) as Cabinet Commander, you can spend Stardust to unlock that faction's theme. "Neutral - Chasing the Realm" requires all five faction themes unlocked first.
Improved the description text for all in-battle statuses: unified wording — Attack/Speed changes now state their target; Stun, Confused, and Seal now read as "the next N turns"; persuasion-type statuses are now uniformly called Persuasion Rate; Unyielding Armor now notes "stacks are not consumed by taking damage" — clearer overall.
Improved the presentation and voice-over of talent dynamic performances: Zhou Yu, Diao Chan, and the female Wanderer now animate more smoothly and completely, with voice timing matched to the visuals.
Unified reward rules: events that can grant a unit no longer give copper when you decline (e.g. the Marriage Tree).
The Zhenhu ornament now supports Huangfu Song's "Troop Discipline" talent — stamp it on a hand-card Troop Discipline, and it can trigger the redeploy shuffle from hand at end of turn.
For the Immortal Mandate's "Sword One" disabling your banner: your banner bearer's death performance now begins 2 seconds before the talent video ends, with knockback motion and shake, syncing better with the video's ending.
Reorganized the Steam store page: trailer, screenshots, and cover art all refreshed.
Fixed an issue where, when Huangfu Song's "Troop Discipline" redeploys and draws multiple units that can trigger "Recommend", some recommendation choices were skipped and later units deployed before the popup — multiple recommendations now queue in order, all selecting normally.
Fixed the timing clash between Troop Discipline's redeploy and the end-of-turn wrap-up when triggered from a hand card via Zhenhu (normally triggered Troop Discipline on the field is unaffected).
Fixed "Calamity" or similar random debuffs applying "Seal" without immediately disabling the banned on-field aura (e.g. "Eagle Eye"'s healing block), lingering for about a turn — Seal now takes effect immediately.
Fixed Han-faction common units recruited via Conscription/Recruitment/Draft wrongly carrying a Signature Talent — Signature Talents are now only correctly gained when the unit reaches gold quality or awakens; recruited common Han units no longer carry them abnormally.
Fixed low-tier (Mundane) shop refreshes sometimes leaving empty slots or missing goods — stock now refills correctly.
Fixed the Mandate occasionally missing Qun infantry summoned earlier that turn when attacking your whole side, hitting only some targets — it now correctly hits all units on the field.
Fixed the Mandate·Divine carrying Seven Advances only gaining Speed once when attacking your whole side — each hit on a unit whose Speed is not lower than its own now correctly triggers a permanent Speed gain.
Fixed the Star Draw (Star Chart gacha) meteor trail being nearly invisible in the release build — the trail now displays fully.
Fixed Cabinet cards popping up status descriptions and showing a wrong max HP on hover — Cabinet card hover no longer shows this info (click-to-select and dragging are unaffected).
Fixed the Speed buff status showing "Swift" instead of the correct name when blocked by "Wolf's Gaze" — it now correctly displays as a Speed buff.
Fixed the Inheritance event still showing "Try Now" when only a pregnant female unit carries the talent, then skipping after clicking and giving no farewell copper — it now states plainly that no one can perform it, letting you leave normally and collect the copper.
Fixed the original event buttons beneath the popup still being clickable after declining to leave the Danqing event — it now closes properly.
Fixed non-Avatar units at max awakening still popping the talent banner when a unit carrying "Li Lian" deploys — no longer pops at max rank.
Fixed Confused/Stun duration not decrementing when applied during a pursuit that finds no target and can only shake in place — it now decrements by turn just like a normal hit.
