Hello, roaders!

Version 1.1.1 is a small but important one. The game is friendlier on the first roads, and if the zombies feel too tough, you no longer have to tough it out: enemy difficulty can now be tuned down.

Enemy Difficulty

  • Slider in the character window: enemy health and damage can be lowered to 50% of their normal values, in 10% steps.

  • Experience unaffected: the setting does not affect experience gain, so play the way that feels comfortable.

  • The zombie wall is unchanged: the slider won't save you from it.

  • In co-op, the host's setting is used.

Easier Early Game

  • More checkpoints: now available on roads 1-5 and 7, and then on every fifth road, as before. A failed early run no longer throws you back to the very beginning.

  • Better weapons on the first roads: roads 1-5 now have a higher chance to roll uncommon weapons.

Fixes

  • Fixed the checkpoint selection window not closing when clicking the Esc button with the mouse.

Take it easy. See you on the asphalt.
