Alright fine, I'll put something in here for people to read.
What's next?
I mentioned multiple times (and implied it though the Early Access status) that I intend to keep updating the game for a long time. What does this mean? Will I just tweak numbers for 5 years? Among other things, yes. But also, I plan on adding the following:
Item system: returning from original Automon, a way to get items and give them to Automons, but with less mental effort to min-max
New Automons and types: obviously. The next one on the list is the Spooky type, but there will be more. I should also figure out how to add Legendaries someday, the game isn't the same without Coldsteel
More community features: expanded player profiles, achievements, some meta levelling system to capture that Gen Alpha audience that needs "Congratulations!!! YOU DID A GOOD!!! LEVEL UP!!!" after every action they take
More modes: depending on what's most popular, perhaps a turbo mode with shorter turn times, maybe a more expanded single player mode that's closer to original Automon. We'll see
Whatever the hell the players want: I will listen to community feedback for as long as my attention span allows, and add stuff that's the most demanded. Unless the most demanded feature is a nude mode. I will not do that
Promises that I should not be making
Finally, one more promise that I might regret:
If the game reaches 50 reviews, I will make a music video with myself dressed up as the kid, singing The Autorap (it's like another song from that other monster catching franchise, but with Automon names instead)
