I know your 10 year old son Timmy is eagerly waiting for this game, as he wishes to fight wild animals in real life and this is the closest simulation, but there's a chance he might have to wait until next week. Get him something smaller and more disappointing in the meantime, like a Playstation 5, to keep him calm.
See, the game is 100% ready and I'd press the button right now if I could, but I can't - the game is still pending internal build review from Valve. Because Valve is in Seattle, the approval, if it happens today, will be in the late evening over here in the primitive old Europe.
Nevertheless, I'd like the game to be available for the weekend so:
If the build gets approved today, the game will be released immediately, with an announcement following here, and there, and everywhere - and if you have it wishlisted, you'll get an email too.
If it doesn't get approved today then it'll have to be next week because they don't work on weekends. I won't promise Monday because that's still not up to me, but I'll release it the exact microsecond it gets approved. I will even do it while driving if I have to, watch me
