Hello Stewards!

We know that moving settlements was one of the most requested features during the County of Fortune demo, so we made it one of our priorities.

We have now added the option to move an entire settlement after it has been founded. Moving it has no cost or penalty. We do not want to punish players for a misclick, for choosing a poor location before they fully understood the surrounding area, or simply for later realizing that the settlement would work better a little closer to something important.

At the same time, settlement movement is not meant to be a way to freely relocate villages across the entire map. A settlement must always remain near the place where it was originally founded, regardless of how many times it has already been moved.

This gives you more freedom to correct or improve your early decisions without making settlement placement meaningless.
