Hello everyone,
Today is a very special day for Under Canopies and I’m incredibly excited to finally share some big news with all of you.
Over the last few years, I’ve been working on this project with a simple goal in mind: creating a peaceful survival game where players can slow down, connect with nature, and build a cozy life in the forest.
What started as a small solo project has continued to grow thanks to your support, feedback and encouragement.
And today, Under Canopies takes another big step forward.
I'm happy to announce that I plan to release Under Canopies into Early Access this summer. To make this possible, I have a new partner - publisher Assemble Entertainment on my side who help me making my dream come true. As I mentioned in my old posts, I have various reasons to launch into Early Access. First and foremost, because I develop the game alone. But Under Canopies is not a game that is meant to be developed alone. I want to develop it with my community.

You may have noticed that the Steam page looks a little different. I've updated the key art, screenshots, store presentation and overall visual identity to better reflect the heart of Under Canopies and the experience I'm trying to create. The game has evolved significantly since the first demo and I wanted the Steam page to evolve with it.
The demo has also received a major update. Some of the improvements include:
Improved building mechanics
Wildlife photography
Additional resources and crafting options
Cooking improvements
More animals and environmental detail
Bug fixes and overall polish
This version represents the most complete look at Under Canopies so far and I would love to hear your feedback.
Under Canopies has officially been featured during the Latin American Games Showcase as part of Summer Game Fest! As a solo developer from Latin America, this moment means a lot to me. Seeing Under Canopies included alongside so many incredible games is honestly surreal. And that's not all...

As you might have guessed everything you have seen in this post was possible because I had support. I'm happy to announce that Under Canopies is now partnering with Assemble Entertainment!
This is something I never imagined when I first started developing the game on my own. Having the support of an experienced publisher will help bring Under Canopies to more players while allowing me to continue focusing on making the game the best it can be.

Under Canopies recently surpassed 33,000 wishlists, which is something I could never have imagined when I started this journey.
