🧾 Economy 1.3.8 — Nonna Has Seen The Books

You told us you could buy the whole shelf. You were right — you could, at every single cart in the game. So we audited every coin the game hands out, found the faucet nobody knew was open, and halved the economy properly.

💰 Gold Is Halved

  • 🪙 A full campaign paid out roughly 19,200 gold. It now pays about 9,600. Same enemies, same items, same drop rates — none of those were touched. Only the money.
  • 🛒 What that means at the cart: at your first shop you can afford about one of the four things on the shelf, where before you could comfortably take all four. By Level 10 you're looking at two or three.
  • 🤔 The shop is a decision again. Locking a slot, re-rolling, walking away with your gold — all of that only means something when you can't have everything.

🐛 The Late-Start Gold Bug

  • 🎁 Starting a run at a later round hands you catch-up gold so you're not broke at Level 4. That calculation was skipping the economy rate entirely and paying about three times what it meant to.

Tell us how the new economy feels. If Level 1 now bites too hard, or Level 9 still feels loose, we want to hear it — we've got the measurements set up to act on it fast.

Buon appetito! ❤️
