Patch Update - 1.0.6

Hey survivors,

Before we get to the fixes, a quick word on version numbers, because we know the last few updates looked odd.

Our recent hotfixes were tagged 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, and 1.5. Those numbers were a mistake. They should have carried the same 1.0.x pattern as this release, so 1.5 should have read 1.0.5, 1.4 should have read 1.0.4, and so on. Nothing about the versioning skipped content or changed what shipped, it was purely a labeling slip on our end, but we know it made the update history confusing to follow. Sorry for the noise. From here on out, hotfixes will follow proper 1.0.x numbering, which brings us to today's patch: 1.0.6.

Now, on to what actually changed.

Stability

  • Fixed an error in the input system that could occur when equipping a weapon while in the Hut.
  • Guarded the Statistics Manager against a null reference error during run transitions.
  • Fixed an occasional null reference error on clients when counting collected Dagonites.
  • Fixed a rare issue where a lingering loading screen state could leave the game stuck on a black screen.

Gameplay & Balance

  • Tide Priest's Dagger and Ritual Bone of Striking have received fixes to their behavior.
  • Anglerfish Eye is now easier to build toward its damage cap.
  • Glass Cannon and Condemned now correctly return health based on how much was taken. (Community Shoutout: GoodOlRusty)
  • Minor Bleed's stacking logic has been corrected. It no longer stacks when it shouldn't.
  • Fixed an issue with an upgradable stat that could throw an error and prevent certain items from being picked up. (Community Shoutout: MrWhitefolks)
  • Fixed issue with Rifle discarding attack context modifications. (Community Shoutout: GoodOlRusty)

UI & Incantations

  • Fixed an initialization issue with Incantation Buttons following a state handling refactor.
  • Fixed the Eldritch Incantation Button showing the wrong sprite on the Diary holdings page.
  • Fixed a missing badge object on the Incantation prefab so it now displays as intended.
  • Added tooltip connections to incantations, corrected incantation text, and added new entries to the Terminology book.
  • Made curse UI calls more reliable, which should also resolve reports of the Ready button not appearing between levels. (Community Shoutout: Sifire)
  • The Item Pickup UI no longer shows the "new item" icon once an item has already been discovered.
  • The Ammo Label now subtracts bullets currently in the magazine from the available ammo count, for a more accurate readout.
  • Fixed the "Turned The Tide" achievement not unlocking correctly.
  • Removed a stray debug button from Alhazred's Death Window.

As always, thank you for reporting bugs and hunting through the dark with us. Keep the reports coming, they genuinely help.
