LT Maximum (27B) replaces LT Pro (26B)
Live Translate now ships two models instead of three:
- LT Easy (8B) — the default. Best fit for modest hardware, and still the only model with native audio understanding.
- LT Maximum (27B) — new. Built on the latest open Qwen model: a dense 27B with vision, document OCR and a 262K context window. Selectable directly from the model list, no separate download.
LT Maximum needs 18 GB or more of video memory. The model picker will not offer it to cards that cannot run it, so nothing breaks on smaller GPUs — you simply keep using LT Easy.
