Today, on the 15th anniversary of the original Kingdom Rush, we're celebrating the only way we know how: by bringing the classic back. Meet CLASSIC MODE, coming to Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis!
In case you missed it: Kingdom rush Genesis has several game modes to choose in every stage:
Iron Challenge One devastating elite wave. One chance to survive. This mode will push your tower placement, timing, and strategy skills to their limit. 1 elite wave · 1 life total
Blitz Challenge Three intense waves with faster enemies and increased gold gain, where your speed is as important as your wit. 3 waves · faster spells · 3 life total
Hero Party Command four heroes but no spells, only courage and tactical worth will lead you to victory. 4 heroes · no spells
Spell Rush Can you survive without your heroes? Face the incoming waves armed only with your towers and faster spells. 3 life total · no heroes · faster spells
But there's one mode we haven't shown you yet… and it's the most exciting one.
To honor the anniversary, Classic Mode is coming! Play through the entire campaign using the classic Kingdom Rush tower lineup, complete with their original upgrade paths. Being faithful to the first game's experience, you’ll also command a single hero and rely on the iconic Reinforcements and Rain of Fire spells as you defend the kingdom once again. A love letter to 2011!
Classic Mode rules:
1 Hero: just like in the old days!
Classic towers only: Barracks, Archers, Mages, and Artillery
Classic spells only: Rain of Fire and Reinforcements
