Controller Support

Stickplosion now plays start-to-finish on a controller.

  • Navigate every menu on a pad — no keyboard or mouse needed
  • Play a full match on a controller: move, aim, fire, secondary fire, ability, and reload
  • The Character Designer is fully controller-driven, with an on-screen keyboard (multi-language) for naming your fighter
  • One-tap issue presets in Report a Bug — reporting works without typing a word

Also in v0.8.0

  • Explosive rounds and poison clouds now trigger at every bounce point, not just the final impact
  • Poison clouds are now visible while they linger
  • New "Getting Started" screen replaces the old tutorial — a quick, browsable guide to movement, shooting, terrain, and effects
  • A batch of balance and stability fixes

Thanks for playing — and keep the reports coming (there's a one-tap preset for that now).

Balance · Poison rebalanced — lower damage-over-time and shorter durations, so poison builds stay strong without running away with the match. · Damage now has a ceiling — stacking upgrade cards can still build a monster, but weapon damage…Major update7 Jul 2026Major Update — Smarter Bots, a Full Soundtrack & Multiplayer PolishDeeper Fights, a Full Soundtrack & Big Multiplayer Polish Since our last major update, Stickplosion has had its biggest run of improvements yet — smarter opponents, a reworked card draft, an all-original soundtrack, and a long list of multiplayer and combat fixes.
