New Bespoke Shaders — The Mani Wheel no longer shares the generic scan-line shader with other towers. Three new shaders give it a unique Tibetan Buddhist identity:
Cinnabar Hood & Base — Vibrant red cinnabar with patina noise and warm blood-orange fresnel rim. Glows brighter when enemies are in range.
Golden Tibetan Script — Pixelated block-glyph characters scroll around the prayer wheel body, emitting a warm golden glow. Characters feature stems, crossbars, descender hooks, and vowel marks — procedurally generated to evoke OM MANI PADME HUM.
Inner Divot — Deep charcoal gap between the hood and text band creates visual depth.
Orbiting Text Cylinder — The old flat orange range circle has been replaced with a standing cylinder of orbiting Tibetan prayer text at the tower's range boundary.
Text scrolls around the circumference like a protective mantra barrier
Dual-layer parallax creates depth illusion — front text bright, back text dim
Fresnel shading makes front-facing text glow, side-turning text recede
Soft edge fade at top and bottom for a floating, ethereal look
Scales automatically with range buffs
Mini Prayer Barrier on Slowed Enemies — When an enemy enters the Mani Wheel's range and receives the slow debuff, a small golden prayer text cylinder wraps around them.
Fades in smoothly when slow first applies
Persists while the enemy remains slowed
Fades out gracefully when the slow decays
Debuff animation now plays once on first application, not every tick (no more animation spam)
Old slow ticker icon removed — the prayer barrier IS the indicator
