Just over two weeks have passed since the launch of Version 1.0, and the Galaxy of Neterun has become an even more vibrant place thanks to all of you.Version 1.0 completed the long narrative journey that began during Early Access, but its launch also opened an entirely new phase. Players with different hardware configurations, habits, and playstyles began exploring every corner of the game, helping us see it from new perspectives. We have carefully read your reviews, discussions, comments, and reports. Many of you also provided detailed descriptions, hardware specifications, and save files, allowing us to quickly turn your experiences into concrete improvements. The First Post-Launch UpdateOur first hotfix arrived just one day after launch and addressed several issues that could immediately affect the player experience. We worked on ships that could become stuck, an interaction issue with the Neterunian Teleporter, and rocket resupply when a Rocket Launcher and Shotgun were equipped at the same time.We also improved the module data displayed in the player menu and during crafting, fixed the visibility of the blue P3 socket, updated the Laser Pulser MK1 VFX, and resolved a visual issue in the final sequence. This first update also included balancing changes. We revised “Help the Crystal” and “Help the Emerald,” the maximum heat capacity of Main Hulls, and several Hell mode parameters, including repair and resupply costs, rocket damage, and quest rewards.Patch 1.0.008 — Strengthening the Foundations of Our QuestsWith Patch 1.0.008, we addressed a deeper issue involving the loading of certain enemies and objects required by quests. We revised the relevant loading rules to make the presence of elements required for progression more reliable, addressing cases reported across several missions. We also fixed the initialization of the Heka after loading a game, the interactable object in the “Deja Vu” quest, certain enemy group behaviors, and the radar visibility of specific objectives. We also added a new ambient sound pattern to the Neterunian Ruins to make the area even more immersive. We are continuing to monitor more specific situations, particularly those connected to individual save files and quest states. Your confirmations after each update are extremely valuable in helping us verify the actual effectiveness of every fix.Patch 1.0.013 — Controllers, Commands, and Menu NavigationWith Patch 1.0.013, we focused on one of the clearest messages from the community: playing with a controller should provide a complete and reliable experience. We added full gamepad support for saving, fixed controller axis inversion, and improved focus behavior and visual feedback within station menus. We expanded the list of rebindable controls and added several currently fixed commands for reference. These include highly requested functions such as the Scanner, Consumables, and Stances. We also added mouse thumb buttons to the available inputs, fixed an issue that could open multiple rebinding prompts, and introduced new shortcuts to make navigating the controls menu smoother. Finally, we fixed an issue that could prevent settings from being saved correctly, revised the audio volume scale, and resolved several issues within the game world, including the orientation of the speed gate near Cage Station and the reactor material at Emerald Station. What We Are Learning TogetherYour reports are helping us understand not only individual problems, but also the feelings those problems can create while playing. When a command is not displayed clearly, it can seem as though a feature is missing. When the scanner does not provide enough feedback, exploration can turn into uncertainty. When an indicator is difficult to read, navigating through space can become frustrating.Understanding these experiences allows us to work not only on bugs, but also on how clearly Hell Galaxy communicates its mechanics and supports each player throughout their journey.Looking AheadThese first updates are only the beginning. Your feedback is helping us understand more clearly where we can make Hell Galaxy more stable, intuitive, and enjoyable to play.We will continue working on performance, controls, interface, navigation, and readability, evaluating the most useful and sustainable improvements as we move forward. We will maintain a flexible approach, with frequent updates and priorities guided by testing and your experiences.Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your patience, precision, and support. You can continue sharing your experiences through the Steam Discussions and Discord: every report can help us better understand your journey. The Galaxy of Neterun should be hostile. Its menus, controls, and the information needed to navigate it should not be.The future of Hell Galaxy is still waiting to be explored together.Until the next update…Farewell, raiders!
