Rich List: The Order · published · build 24588396
The centerpiece of this update: company operations have been deeply reworked to demand more strategy and offer a stiffer challenge. We've also added a high-freedom phone design system — you can now design a truly one-of-a-kind product!
⚠️ The 0.1.5 update is currently uploading to Steam and will be available within the next few hours.
In previous versions, a failed product launch rarely did real damage, while factories kept successful products supplied as if by magic. Now you must build up inventory before a launch: a flop will tie up piles of cash and stack up in your warehouse, while a hit that outruns expectations may see its life cycle cut short by supply shortages.
The phone design system has been massively rebuilt — you can now freely adjust your 3D phone model in a far more professional interface!
· Earnings-driven share swings have been damped: only reports that beat expectations by 20% or miss by 10% now register in the market. On top of that, the pull dragging share prices from irrational levels back toward rational ones is noticeably stronger.
· Dozens of story beats have been updated (200+ still to come before the final goal). The road to The Order now runs longer.
· Some asset values and effects have been adjusted — on older saves, this will very likely push your net worth up sharply.
Meanwhile:
1. The “Marketing & Launch” module has been renamed “Marketing & PR”, and the product marketing budget controls have moved from “Products & Life Cycles” to “Marketing & PR”.
2. Several data readouts are now more precise.
3. Reworked parts of the UI layout.
4. Adjusted unlock conditions for some items and the late-game routes to their related values.
5. Tuned the Tech Tree's routes and difficulty.
6. Competitors now genuinely squeeze your market share — see the details in the “Competitors” module.
7. The stock market now simulates dividends and ex-dividend pricing in more depth.
8. News now covers tycoons' portfolio moves in detail.
9. NPC companies compete harder and are less predictable.
10. Stock dividends now settle each January.
11. Reloading saves no longer reveals poker hands.
12. Fifth-generation in-house chips temporarily score higher.
13. Every interactive NPC is now open in the Network (though not everyone will help your career).
14. Improved text quality and story animations in places.
15. Some late-game stories are temporarily locked; they will reopen as the mechanics updates land.
16. Added a detailed list of assets disposed of in bankruptcy.
We're building more and deeper company-system upgrades, but I wanted to ship this version early so I can hear your feedback sooner.
If you've enjoyed this update and can see the game moving forward, leaving a "Recommended" review on Steam is the single biggest way to support its growth:
· It helps more players discover the game.
· It gives me the energy and the resources to keep building new features.
· It brings the game one step closer to a truly great business simulation.
Best,
Tim Gu
