New major update for Octohill is entering its final stages, so it's a good opportunity to set some key dates. This is the biggest update yet (and it took quite a while to develop), so naturally it requires testing and polishing. As usual, there will be a beta branch to see what issues I missed, and this time it will run for three weeks, so you'll have more time to try it out.
Beta branch opens from 2nd of September
The beta branch will be in the state planned for release, containing all the planned features: (seasons, weather with avalanches, bridges and stairs, coloring tools and more). One exception is workshop and mods, which will only become available when the update is fully released. You will be able to switch to beta branch same way as before ("Properties" - "Betas" tabs).
Update release on 23rd of September
If no major issues arise, in three weeks after that the beta version will become the main one. To fully enjoy it, starting a new game might be the best option. There will be no breaking changes, your old saves will also load fine but some parts of your resort may end up not where you'd want them to be relative to the snow line.
