Hey guys!

We are back with our next video feature for the week. Today, we're hanging out with LucasArts legend Bill Tiller, the visionary artist behind The Curse of Monkey Island, The Dig, as well as Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

Since you all recently smashed through his stretch goal milestone, we wanted to give you a closer look at the man behind the upcoming Kickstarter exclusive alternate box art and physical posters.

A few highlights from the video:

  • LucasArts Nostalgia: Bill talks about his history in the gaming industry and what it was really like working on some of the most beloved adventure games ever made.

  • Retro Connection: A look back at his work on Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and how that same campy, classic 90s aesthetic directly influenced his approach to our game’s special Key Art.

  • Designing the Key Art: Insights into his creative process and how he brought his signature style into the world of Lethal Wedding.

You can watch the full conversation right here:

Still Coming Up This Week

The week isn't over yet, and we still have two audio-focused features dropping over the next few days. Keep an eye on your inbox for:

  • A standalone music performance video from Joe McDermott.

  • A live performance and Sega Genesis music breakdown from our own chiptune wizard, Karl O'Janpa.

With only a few days left before the campaign officially wraps up, we are making a final push toward the Team Fat Deluxe CD and the modern console ports. If you want to help us get those locked in before time runs out, feel free to grab the campaign link right here to share with your friends, your usual player two, or any retro groups you hang out in.

We're jumping right back to the altar to keep working on the game build, but we'll be down in the comments to see what you think of Bill's legendary work. Drop a comment and let's chat!

See you down the aisle,

-The Mega Cat Studios Team
