Update: Full Controller Support & Playtest Now Available

Hello everyone,

As promised, we have been working intensively on integrating controller support over the past few months. Until now, Varthos was only playable with a mouse and keyboard – that changes with today's update. Full controller support is now built-in.

Our game has reached an important milestone. However, we are aware that under real conditions, the system might still have a bug or two. We rely on your support here, your feedback is important to us!

Your Opinion on Handling and Bug Reports

We have implemented a control layout that we believe is sensible and intuitive. However, we know that experienced controller players often have their own unique perspective on button layouts and general handling.

We would therefore be delighted if you could help us with the following:

Bug Reports: Please report any bugs you notice while using the controller. Don't worry: if you report bugs to us, we will take care of them immediately.
Handling Optimization: Let us know if the controls feel smooth or if you would prefer certain functions or button assignments to be different.

How You Can Test (Now Also via Playtest!)

Game Owners: You can test the controller support right now directly in the main game.
New Players & Playtest: If you don't own the game yet, you are welcome to join our playtest. As a playtester, you also have the opportunity to invite up to two friends.
Note on the Playtest: The scope of the playtest is reduced and corresponds roughly to the content of our former demo version.
