Storm Seas version 0.2.7 is now available.
Since launch, we have been closely following your comments and experiences. Your honest feedback is incredibly valuable to us and has helped guide the changes in this update.
## Ship handling and controls
- Improved ship speed and turning response
- Cannons can now be controlled directly from the helm
- Sails and anchor can now be managed from the helm
## Naval combat balance
- Reduced the damage received by the player's ship
- Reduced the damage dealt by enemy cannons
## Survival and guidance
- Adjusted how quickly energy, hunger, and thirst decrease
- Added a tutorial notification when your character becomes sleepy
## Interface clarity
- The crate recovery option is now hidden while merchants are not working
