Hello everyone! Based on your feedback, we've released a new update for Optical Shop Simulator. In this patch, we focused on the in-game economy, UI/resolution issues, and the bug reports you sent us. Here are the details:
🖥️ Resolution and UI Improvements
More Readable Texts: All texts that were hard to read at lower resolutions (e.g., 1280x800) have been scaled up. The Wiki, Client Status, save warnings, and lens information are now crystal clear.
New Resolution System: Fixed the issue where the settings menu appeared empty or showed incorrect values. The system was rewritten from scratch; it now lists actual supported resolutions and saves your selection properly.
🎰 Casino and Mini-Games Balancing We noticed that the feeling of losing in the casino was a bit too harsh. Without breaking the game's economy, we made the following changes:
New Bet Amounts: To prevent you from wiping your budget in one go, bet options have been updated to 10$/25$/50$.
Lucky Wheel Adjustment: The "Lose" slices on the wheel have been halved (from 4 to 2). The overall win rate remains the same, but the bad luck of spinning empty consecutively is reduced!
Fixed a text bug on the wheel that showed nonsensical values like "+$-5".
🔧 Bug Fixes
Glasses Shelf Bug: Fixed an issue where glasses placed on the shelf were visible but couldn't be picked back up.
Camera and Workshop Bug: The issue where the camera would break or the shop would become unrecognizable after leaving the assembly screen has been completely resolved (We expect this to also fix the "falling through walls" or out-of-bounds issues).
🌍 Localization and Quality of Life (QoL)
Finished glasses are now named clearly as "Assembled Glasses" instead of using system language strings.
Fixed font issues with special characters in the Turkish localization.
Fixed the issue where save information texts wouldn't fit in their UI boxes.
Thoroughly checked and verified all texts in 3 languages (English, German, Turkish).
Have fun gaming! Thank you for your bug reports and support.
