Hello Adventurers and Guildmembers!
Just making another patch notes post for those who may not be reading the Update Log in game, and for those who do not own the game so they can get an idea of the kinds of improvements that have been incoming. :)
Many of these improvements are the result of suggestions and discussions in the Discord. If you have feedback, ideas, or really think a certain Quality of Life feature would be useful, please do join and let me know. I'm in the Discord every day, and the community in there is the absolute best.

If you've kept an eye on the Discord or regularly read the Update Log notes from the main menu, you will have seen these already. Be warned! Some may contain minor spoilers or hint at content later in the game.

- Added search bars to the Bestiary, Tidecraft Log, and Wyldcraft Log. Type an
enemy name, zone name, or item name to instantly find where something comes
from. Search only matches things you have already discovered, so no spoilers.
- Key items found through random drops now have bad luck protection. If you go
well past the average number of attempts without finding one, your odds
quietly climb until the item is guaranteed. No more nightmare dry streaks on
quest discoveries.
- Fixed a bug where quest-unlocked gathering and processing actions would not
automatically resume when you loaded your save. Your character will now pick
the action back up, exactly as it was running when you saved.
- Driftroot was in far higher demand than its supply allowed, since it is the
herb behind four different Greater brews. Driftroot Seeds now drop from two
B-Rank enemies, and Driftroot itself drops from two more.
- Perfect Luminael and Perfect Voidmote were dropping more frequently than
intended from a mid-game gem rock, and are now exclusive to the last,
endgame deposit. Recipes involving either have been appropriately updated,
with Perfect Voidmote also becoming a required material for two endgame
recipes.
- Reaching 25,000,000 XP in a skill (the true maximum) now turns that skill's
sidebar level platinum instead of gold, for those of you chasing total
completion. Hover it to see the exact XP.
- Potion counts on the utility slots now abbreviate into K/M once they get
large, so big brew stacks no longer overflow the little badge. Exact counts
still show in the tooltip.
- Companions can no longer be assigned to Special recipes such as trinket
cleaning. The discoveries behind those recipes are meant to be found by
your own hands. 2026-08-17
- Selling an item that is currently equipped or in a loadout now has a
second confirmation window, ensuring you truly mean to sell your
equipment.
- Accessibility Feature: Added an Ambient Effect toggle to the display
settings panel. Some themes have animated effects, and this will toggle
them off for players that may find them distracting or uncomfortable.
- Quick-tanning rotfang hide into rotfang leather can now proc the related
quest, just like normal tanning.
- Minor UI tweaks/improvements, and a selector drop-down bug fix. The
Achievement panel now counts your total number of Achievements completed
by chain, instead of individually. 2026-08-13
- Added a (scroll down for more) message to the material selectors in
processing skills, to ensure players do not miss there being additional
options farther down the list.
- The Keep's upgrade buttons were disabled during combat, but there was no
tooltip explaining why the buttons were disabled. Hovering the upgrade
buttons during combat now explains that you need to finish your fight
before upgrading.
- The rare equipment drop at Coppergill Lake was simply too rare for an early
game Tidecraft drop. It has been adjusted to be considerably more common,
and the item itself received a stat buff to make it more worthwhile to go
after.
- Added hover tooltips to the Combat Styles list in the Equipment panel.
Hovering Martial, Ranged, Incantation, or Fortitude now shows that style's
level, current XP, XP needed for the next level, and total XP. Previously
you could only see this by being in active combat.
