FEATURES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

The Tower Descent

Oookay, the new Tower loadout process is now up for Beta players. This feature is still in the works, so I am 1000% looking for input, requests, and wishlist items. The in-game focus on the Tower will only grow, so I want to ensure this process is as enjoyable as possible and as clean to operate as I can make it.

  • Survey, Muster, and Loadout are the Tower's surfaces now, and the Survey is where the Tower opens. Lore & Overview is retired; the warden Repel and Parley choice moved to the descent button, and the Deepwrought Delve, coalition war record, reclaimed-floor ledger, and scouted intel moved to the Survey's rail.

  • The thirty you build in the Muster is the force that actually fights, no more 6-party stack.

  • Standing orders for the descent are authored once for the whole raid and applied to every climber, replacing the read-only per-party gambit card.

  • Your squads carry the Deepforge auto-kit into an interactive Tower fight. The gear was being handed out but not counted when the floor resolved.

Sandbox Settings

Eighteen new run settings, built from the community requests thread. Every one is neutral at its default, so a normal game plays exactly as before.

  • Roster: Immortal Roster (your people stop aging and retiring, the world's pool does not), Uncap Potential, F-Tier Challenge.

  • World: Guaranteed Flaws, Negative Trait Frequency (0-300%), Positive Trait Frequency (0-200%), Free Agent Pool Size (50-200%), Full Intel (recruits show exact stats, no scouting needed).

  • Party & Combat: Disable Party Synergy, Disable Party Restrictions (deploy five healers if you like), Injury Recovery Speed (50-300%).

  • Economy: Free Crafting, Static Market Prices, Sale Price Capped at Base, No Rival Trade Offers, Equipment Sale Price (25-200%).

  • Academy: Student Growth Speed (25-300%), Student Room & Board (0-300%).

Training

  • Pin a Standing Focus on a hero and it shapes every future level-up forever, from any source, including while they are deployed. No more retraining just to refresh a focus that ran out of charges.

  • The Training panel shows a roster-wide focus count, and one button pins every currently-focused hero's stats as a standing focus.

  • Academy graduates sign with a standing focus on their class's primary stats already set.

Combat & Crafting

  • Multiplayer Guild Duels now properly play out in the hex arena, the same one the single-player Rival Challenge uses. Watch the Duel from the result screen, or read the summary as before. The duel's outcome, gold, renown, and Elo remain exactly what the server decided.

  • Rival Challenge exhibitions let you pick a starting formation: Auto, Shield Wall, Skirmish Line, or Refused Flank. Auto keeps the old random pick, which was stranding healers on the far flank.

  • The Crafting Compendium gains a By Type view grouping recipes by item family, with family and tier tags on every card, light/medium/heavy weight classes on armor and helms, and a panel naming the strongest craftable version of each family.

  • New Master-Tier recipes for cartographers, chroniclers, and diviners, plus a panel pointing at the best recipe and crafter for each gear gap.

  • The enlarged class synergy web is a proper map: cursor-anchored zoom, drag to pan, a Refit control, a search that finds any class or synergy, a legend, and near-miss synergies that pulse as stars.

BUG FIXES

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Raids

  • A raider at full health can no longer die on a decisive victory. This bug was very annoying, but to be clear, all deaths come only from the fight itself: casualties the battle actually inflicts, plus the pyrrhic outcome's own risk.

Guild Records

  • Retired legends open their Hall of Fame dossier again. A hero who left the roster without dying resolved to nothing and fell through to the "records lost to time" placeholder.

  • Two different heroes who happen to share a name can both be inducted. The second one used to be silently blocked by the first.

  • A legend's closest companions show their names instead of blanks, and those names now survive a save trimmed under storage pressure.

Gear

  • Repeated clicks on an enhancement can no longer stack the same enchant four times. The apply step itself now refuses a duplicate, so the lag between click and result is harmless.

Factions & Contracts

  • Soldiers in the field count toward the War Machine oath. An active Military contract or joint operation now satisfies it, so the "Where Are Your Soldiers?" nag no longer fires while your party is out fighting.

  • The oath panel reads your real yearly record, so a failing military oath no longer displays as on track.

  • A party still bound to a faction contract reads "On Contract" instead of "Ready", and the Commander will no longer send that party out on a quest at the same time.

Leagues

  • Re-entering your league from the menu resumes your campaign instead of founding a new guild over the top of it.

  • A menu Leave that fails no longer deletes your league save. The save and registry entry are dropped only on a confirmed leave.

  • A player who left a league can join it again through the UI.

Markets & Economy

  • A trade offer you jump to from the ledger or a letter stays on screen instead of vanishing the instant it scrolls into view.

  • "Sale price capped at base" only ever tightens the ceiling. On a developed guild it could previously raise the very limit it exists to lower.

  • The Equipment Sale Price setting now applies to bulk sales and direct sells, not just one path.

Miscellaneous

  • Adventurers who only ever fought story-arc missions now bank those missions as completed quests, closing a loophole that kept their rookie protection alive forever.

  • Garrison fatigue can no longer be shed by recalling one detachment and stationing another on the same stretch in the same week. Only real time off the wall clears it.

  • A Training Focus you set once still shows its ◈ mark on the weekly report.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

BALANCE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • Academy-only runs get four faculty slots from the moment the Academy exists, instead of grinding to Academy T3 for the fourth.

  • Academy-only runs can headhunt staff, crafters, gatherers, and Academy prospects. Only adventurer role and class searches remain closed.

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

QUALITY OF LIFE

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

  • "Deployable only" now hides everyone who genuinely cannot march this week, adding members in training and on construction crews to the injured and resting. Both the Parties picker and the Tower Muster use the same rule.

  • The Week 48 Auto-Renewal Report shows each renewal's role, party, previous wage, new wage with the percentage increase, and contract term.

  • The Armory marks broken gear with a red badge, adds a filter for it, and tells you when Optimize left a slot empty because every candidate for it is broken.

  • Reserving parties for a raid warns you up front when a reserved party will not be free before the bounty expires, and releases the reservation automatically if that turns out to be true, sending the ready parties back to their standing orders.

  • A suspended oath shows how many more weeks of compliance you need before it is restored, or tells you that you are not compliant yet.

  • Leaving a Multiplayer game from the menu drops it from Your Leagues immediately instead of at the next poll.
