🔮 Magic Skill Tree Rework
The magic tree has been reworked and rebalanced across the board. Individual changes below.
Gust
- Cooldown reduced from 4.5s to 3s.
- Damage reduced by 25%.
Star Fall
- Now a toggle skill. Damage reduced so its DPS lands in roughly the same place as before.
Gravity Well (Rework)
- Cooldown is now only 5 seconds.
- Larger range, shorter duration, and it now creates an explosion when the duration ends.
- Overall DPS is roughly unchanged.
Arcane Surge
- Projectiles now travel 100% faster.
- Duration increased from 5s to 10s, but projectiles now disappear after hitting monsters 14 times.
Soul Bomb
- Now deals 30% bonus damage to bosses.
🗡️ Combat & Skill Changes
Toggle Skills
- All toggle combat skills (Dark Fire, Divine Thorn, and Star Fall) will now snuff out on their own after a period of player inactivity.
Ranged Buffs
- Pure ranged skills have been buffed across the board by roughly another 30%. (I can't do math, but it's not about me.)
- Soul Shot and Holy Arrow now deal roughly 40% more damage.
Shadow Twin
- No longer double casts Blink.
✨ New Features & Systems
Light Crystal
- Killing monsters will occasionally spawn a Light Crystal. Touch it for a small temporary EXP and drop rate bonus.
DPS Meter
- A proper DPS meter has been added and can be enabled in the Options window.
Custom Drop Sounds
- You can now set your own custom drop sound in the Options menu.
🌍 World
Mighty Monsters
- Now have 3x HP but grant 6x EXP, making them far more worth hunting down.
🛡️ Security & Anti-RMT
We've been seeing RMT sites advertised in game. These changes are aimed squarely at that.
- Megaphones are now disabled below level 20.
- Trading, Auction House, and shop stall use are now disabled for players under level 15.
- Added Cheating/Hacking as a report category when reporting a player.
💬 Chat
- You can now show off items in chat with ctrl+click. Your item appears as an icon in your message, and other players can hover it to see the item's stats. This works with megaphones too.
- Megaphones now have an emoji selector, just like the normal chat window.
🛒 Cash Shop
- Almost every piece of Cash Shop equipment can now be dyed, including pets.
- You can now buy multiple items at once. Unlimited items like megaphones and fireworks have no cap, and limited items like inventory, storage, character, and buddy list expansion coupons can be bought up to your remaining allowance. If you already own some, you'll only be able to buy the difference.
💰 Auction House & Shops
- Auction House searches now work in languages other than English.
- Ironman characters can no longer open shop stalls at all, in both solo and group Ironman.
🔧 Quality of Life
- You can now drag and drop skills in the Combos section of the skill window to rearrange them, without reassigning everything.
- Setting your name or guild color now asks for confirmation. Pressing Enter no longer applies the color instantly.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed player shop stalls getting stuck as "already set up" when no stall actually existed on any channel.
- Fixed Mirage party search showing the map ID instead of the display name.
- Fixed combos sometimes not being assignable to hot bars.
