This hotfix focuses on improving combat flow, fishing, building controls, and a few frustrating edge cases.
- Bait is no longer consumed when starting to fish. Instead, bait now has a 50% chance to be consumed when reeling in, regardless of whether a fish is caught or not.
- Health and mana potions now use a real-time cooldown of 30 seconds. This means potions can be used multiple times during a level or boss fight, as long as you wait for the cooldown.
- The player is now briefly protected from damage when transitioning between levels or entering dungeons, helping prevent accidental damage during loading or movement transitions.
- The player is also briefly protected after defeating a boss, reducing the chance of dying before being able to collect dropped loot.
- Stored Affliction can now only be consumed up to 99 Whispers of Affliction to prevent accidental deaths. This does not apply to classes that cannot die from Affliction.
- Improved boss summoning requirements to make them more intuitive.
- Slightly increased the crab drop rate on the Pale Coast.
- Improved the building flow. Pressing B on keyboard or Select on controller now toggles building mode on and off.
- Doubled the base building reach radius.
- Platforms no longer stop the fishing lure.
- Improved controller recognition, especially when swapping between keyboard/mouse and controller.
- Slightly increased the default message write speed.
