Big day on the ship. We are stepping into the brightest spotlight on Steam, a new room just opened that you have to see for yourselves, and a community quest is kicking off with one million booties to slap before the mystery cracks. Read on.
A new community event is live with one very simple goal. One MILLION booty slaps. Together.
The booty in question is already waiting for you on the first level, sitting on the beach, staring off into the distance like it is expecting someone.
Just play the Demo and SLAP. Every slap counts toward the global counter. Bring friends, bring streamers, bring anyone with a working hand and a sense of duty. The faster we hit the number, the faster the mystery cracks open.
The booty on the beach has been waiting for someone for a very long time. Every slap brings the answer closer to the surface. Hit the million together and the Cracken finally rises.
From June 15 to 22 we are officially part of Steam Next Fest. New players will be pouring onto the ship all week, so if you have been wanting to drag your friends in, this is the moment. The Demo will be live the entire fest, fresh patch and all.
There is a new room hidden somewhere on the island, dedicated to the creators who have been with us since the early stages. Pedestals, spotlights, one piece per streamer, picked specifically for them. You will know whose is whose the second you walk in.
Some of them have been streaming, testing, and giving feedback long before the demo went public. This is our small way of saying thank you, and a permanent spot in the game for everyone who helped get us this far.

We added two new weather types in this update. Look up between slaps, the horizon has been showing off lately. Worth pausing for a moment just to take it in.
