HERE SHE IS... A kitchen veteran with decades of experience. Becky has been working in gastronomy since she was twelve. She's seen the long shifts, difficult customers, burnt dishes, and everything else that comes with the job. After years of putting the kitchen first, her career cost her a marriage and left little room for a personal life.
Now she's tired of simply cooking for everyone else. Becky wants to be the one in charge making the decisions, taking the risks, and finally having the freedom to live a little. But leaving the kitchen behind isn't quite as easy as she hoped.
Sharp, sarcastic, and more than a little intimidating, Becky doesn't make a habit of showing her softer side.
Becky starts out as an employer and mentor. But as the story unfolds, her relationship with the crew becomes something more.
