This update has focused heavily on improving the early-game experience, ship systems, scanning, UI feedback, and progression — alongside a lot of work behind the scenes to help identify where players are getting stuck.
Improved several First Steps tasks to make early-game objectives clearer.
Updated onboarding instructions and progression guidance.
Added the Makeshift Plasma Cannon to the First Steps progression.
Removed an early-game item marker that could lead players away from the intended starting area.
Moved the starting drone to make the opening sequence less intrusive.
Added clearer feedback when Analysis is unavailable.
Added a warning when attempting Analysis while outside the ship.
Cleaned up some early audio prompts
The early Power Core sequence has received several improvements.
A Damaged Power Core can now be repaired into a Makeshift Power Core.
Repair Paste can now be used to repair the Damaged Power Core.
Added an MFD warning when a Damaged Power Core is installed.
Added a No Power warning to the MFD.
Improved feedback and progression around installing and repairing the ship's Power Core.
Fixed several Ship Setup tooltips.
Updated the ship's RMB scanning system.
Added the Ship Scanner Module.
Added a new Scan Complete sound effect.
Optimized several scanning and UI update systems.
Improved Analysis availability feedback.
Began the first stage of the Ship MFD revamp.

The StarFish will now hunt the player's ship rather than directly hunting the player.

A significant amount of work has also gone into expanding gameplay telemetry.
WarpedSpace can now better track important progression milestones such as:
Entering and exiting the ship.
Repairing and installing the Power Core.
Opening Ship Setup.
Completing the Power Core tutorial.
First ship takeoff.
Building the Plasma Harvester and Space Dock.
Repairing an abandoned Space Dock.
Repairing Jump Gates.
etc....
This should make it much easier to see where players are progressing smoothly — and, more importantly, where they're getting stuck.
