CubingForge’s latest update makes learning your first solve clearer and practicing your next solve more comfortable.

- A more visual Beginner Method Library
Explore the beginner journey with larger interactive 3D examples, stage goals, highlighted pieces, plain-language instructions, and a guided example solve. Inspect the cube and work through moves
at your own pace.

- A more helpful Chapter 2 teacher
Beginner guidance responds to your current cube, helps you prepare corner and middle-edge insertions, and keeps an active sequence visible through temporary disruption of solved pieces.

- Guide and Assistant choices in Free Cubing
Choose the step-by-step Beginner Guide or the CFOP Assistant. Hide both whenever you want an uncluttered practice session.

- Clearer move guidance
Follow complete notation sequences with visible progress, face highlights, directional arrows, and face badges. Normal guided face turns keep your viewing orientation stable.

- Smoother smart-cube interaction
Reduced unnecessary status updates and background guidance work. Hidden guides stop analysing, while Windows and Linux smart-cube connections use the native Bluetooth integration.

- More consistent scramble instructions
Free Cubing and Practice now present scrambles with Yellow on top, Green at the front, and White underneath. Bluetooth calibration retains its separate starting-grip instructions.

- Improved Practice Timer controls
Added event categories and filtered solve history, clearer category dropdowns, and virtual-cube visibility controls—including a fix when switching back to 3×3.

Existing progress, learned algorithms, and solve history are preserved.

Thanks for helping shape CubingForge! If something feels unclear or a smart-cube turn behaves unexpectedly, please share your feedback in the Steam discussions.
