Super Shout Showdown will officially launch in Steam Early Access on August 7, 2026!
Since the demo launched, we've been blown away by your support. Thousands of players have jumped into the game, shared valuable feedback, and helped shape its future.
One of my favorite moments has been watching all of you shouting your own incantations and fully embracing the fantasy of becoming an anime character of your own. Seeing your clips, reactions, and creative chants has been incredibly motivating.
Now, we're ready for the next chapter.
Early Access gives us the opportunity to continue developing Super Shout Showdown together with the community. We'll keep improving the combat, balancing spells, adding new content, and refining the overall experience based on your feedback.
What's New for Early Access?
This is our biggest update yet, featuring:
100 spells variants to unlock, combine, and master
Write your own incantations where longer chants unleash more powerful spells
Voice-powered spell casting with support for 15+ languages, with more planned
Multiple game modes including Duels, Team Battles, and Free-for-All Deathmatch
Numerous balance improvements, quality-of-life updates, and much more
And this is only the beginning.
We already have plenty of new spells, features, game modes, and content planned throughout Early Access. Your feedback will continue to play a huge role in shaping the game, and we'll be sharing our detailed Early Access Roadmap soon.
