To our Steam community,
It pains us to make this announcement, but due to the relentless cheating that has appeared in the last couple weeks, we've made the difficult decision to temporarily pause sales of Strayed on Steam until July 6. This prevents cheaters from rebuying the game on new accounts, which has been their only method of evading bans.
This is not a decision we take lightly. We know many people have been excited to join the game, and we're deeply sorry for the inconvenience and disappointment this may cause. This isn't something we wanted to do, but our time is being stretched thin, and we can't continue to support the game in other ways while needing to divert so much attention and resources to moderation. Our focus right now is on addressing the issues affecting the experience of our existing player base and implementing improvements that will help protect the game moving forward.
Thank you to everyone who has supported Strayed, reported cheaters, and remained patient during this time. We are committed to doing everything we can to improve the situation and keep Strayed fun and fair for all.
We look forward to reopening sales on July 6, and apologies again for the inconvenience this causes to those that wanted to play fair. We appreciate you.
