Bravemech: The Century War Β· published

π Welcome, Commander β Bravemech is LIVE in Early Access (start here)
We're live. And you're early.
If you're reading this, you're one of the first commanders to reach the front. Bravemech: The Century War is officially in Early Access β and this hub is where it grows up. Thank you for being here on day one. Genuinely.
What you're getting into
A deterministic mecha action-roguelite β one full war campaign per run. Command a squadron through the first year of a hundred-year war: build your roster, bury your dead, and face nemesis aces who remember your scars. Win or lose, the war ends when your run does β and every scar carries into the next. In the game right now:
A complete war campaign every run, with persistent consequences
100+ original mecha to command
The Nemesis Ace system β rivals who remember you and come back meaner
4-player local co-op
An ammo economy & supply lines that make every shot a decision
Fully deterministic, seeded runs β with shareable replays
What "Early Access" means here
I'm building this in the open, with you β that's the whole point. My honest promises:
I'll be in this hub daily. I read everything, even when I can't reply to all of it.
Your feedback steers the roadmap. Balance, content, and features get shaped by what you tell me here.
Roughly a year in Early Access is the plan, guided by how it goes.
The price will rise as the game grows toward 1.0 β so the folks here now are getting in at the ground floor.
How you can actually help (this is huge)
A one-person studio lives or dies on early feedback. The most valuable things you can do:
Report bugs β and include your seed. Because every run is deterministic, your seed lets me replay your exact battle and see the bug with my own eyes. That's pure gold.
Tell me what feels off β pacing, clarity, difficulty, a weapon that's no fun. Specifics beat vibes.
Share your war stories β your best run, your worst defeat, the ace who ended your favorite pilot. Drop the seed and let others try to beat it.
Leave an honest review. For a tiny studio, reviews are how anyone finds this at all. No pressure β just your honest take.
I'll get pinned threads up for Bug Reports, Feedback & Ideas, and War Stories shortly. Until then, post anywhere β I'm watching the whole hub.
Why I Made This Game
This has been a huge passion project of mine and a dream ever since I was a kid. I wanted to make a game that reminded me of the Super Famicom (The Japanese SNES) days playing something challenging with family or friends at home but also had a mix of those early retro Mecha games. I had so many great childhood memories playing in that era and I wanted to recreate that feeling for an entirely new generation! Also the music was such an important factor for me because the video game music back then was spectacular!! I hope I can continue building this game for you all and hopefully do more with this series! Thank you so much for you support!
Now get out there
Game will be available in the next 2~3 weeks for purchase on Steam, so wishlist now and see you on the front!!
