Ahoy, pirates!

Steam Next Fest is officially over, and what a ride it's been. Seven days of demos, streams, slaps, and feedback flying in from every corner of the seas. Barely had time to breathe, and honestly, wouldn't have it any other way.

Now that the dust has settled and the cannons have cooled, it's time to look back at what you pulled off this week. And spoiler: it's louder than expected!

We're in the Top 50 demos

Here's the nuance though: we landed at number 50 exactly. Which, honestly, we'll take. For our team, this is a huge milestone, and a massive thank you goes out to everyone who downloaded the demo and stood behind the game.

The numbers are in, and they're loud. 30.923 players stepped onto the islands. 13.021 pirates stashed the game on their wishlist for later. And the peak that hit us hardest: 868 of you roaming the islands at the very same moment. Our highest tide yet.

You've slapped your way past 7.500.000 slaps. Didn't see that coming. So here's the deal: the booty stays out for one more week. Keep slapping, pirates. We remember our promise, and it still stands.

Drop a review if you had fun

A few words from you go further than you'd think. Reviews help new pirates figure out if these islands are their kind of mess, and they push the game in front of folks who'd otherwise never spot it. Doesn't have to be long. A single line is gold.

We've got big plans for the game ahead. Stick around, keep an eye on us, the best is still on the horizon!

Thank you for the loudest week we've ever had!

Community11 Sep 2026Our Window is Broken. The Work Isn'tAhoy, pirates. We love making games. We know exactly how to make Last Pirates better, and we work on it every single day. But some days, things get in the way. This morning a strike landed right next to our office in Kyiv. The window of the room where part of our team works is broken, the whole team is still shaken, and one of our colleagues was hurt, her arm is bandaged now. Everyone is alive,…Major update10 Sep 2026MAJOR UPDATE: The Statues Are Awake, and the Head Crab Has Changed ShapeAhoy, pirates! A new enemy, a monster rebuilt from the ground up, new toys, achievements, and a very long list of changes. Not everything valuable wants to be picked up One of them is already sitting in your levels. It looks like treasure, holds perfectly still, and waits for someone greedy enough to crack it open. What climbs out will grab you and drag you off, and only a friend can pull you l…Community10 Sep 2026Last Pirates: Die Together is Now Steam Deck VerifiedAhoy, pirates! We are happy to report that Last Pirates: Die Together is officially Steam Deck Verified . Which means you can now play on a train, on a plane, or on a deserted island if that is where life has taken you. Just download it first and keep an eye on that battery. That Verified badge means the game runs properly on Deck straight away. Controls are mapped and work as intended, the tex…
