Matches, reshaped
- A match is now ONE round with the scores shown right away — and when it ends (or the host ends it), the whole group lands back in the lobby together. Rematch is one START away.
- Joining a session mid-match now takes you to the lobby properly instead of a phantom half-match.
- Fixed matches occasionally hanging on start, double spawns at round start, and the results screen fighting you for the cursor.
Climbing grew up
- You can now climb over ledges at the top of a wall, keep your grip riding to the end of one, and grab from a more forgiving distance.
- Everyone SEES you climb now — with a proper hanging pose and a colorful control hint while you're on the wall.
- Your head follows your camera, so other players can tell where you're looking. The camera also stops clipping through props behind you.
Paint that stays put
Big replication clean-up: moving a painted block keeps its paint for everyone, paint no longer vanishes or arrives scrambled on other screens, remote players' guns no longer jitter or sit backwards in their hands, and poses can't get stuck wrong anymore. What you painted is what they see.
Sounds and looks
- The game has MUSIC now, plus a little feedback sound when you jump.
- The seeker-nearby panic cue is now a cartoon bongo heart (and the heartbeat is quieter about it).
- Lobby buttons got a restyle, and the role splash at round start has its own look per role.
Heads up
The network protocol changed again — make sure everyone updates before playing together, or you won't see each other's lobbies.
Shorter matches means more of them — go play!
