Countdown to the hunt
- Starting a match now kicks off a short countdown everyone can see in the lobby — no more instant yank into the level.
- The host's START button becomes CANCEL during it. Cancelling keeps everybody in the lobby like nothing happened.
- Players joining mid-countdown see the correct remaining time.
The game finally makes noise
- Seeker shots are audible to everyone — and the gun's sound scales with how big you forged it.
- Shots landing on grass, metal, sand, stone or wood each sound like it, for the whole match to hear.
- Hiders: you'll now HEAR when a seeker prowls close — a warning cue that ramps up the closer they get. Good luck keeping your nerve.
- Taunts got voices: chicken, whistle and, yes, fart. Getting caught has a proper sound too.
Heads up
This update changes the network protocol — make sure your teammates have updated before you host, or you won't see each other's lobbies.
Have fun, and keep the reports coming!
