Ahoy, pirates!

Fresh patch on deck. A shiny new weapon tier, a solid round of balance work, and a pile of fixes on top. Here is everything that changed.

Golden weapons in the store

Say hello to the Golden Sword and the Golden Hand Cannon. Both come with their own models, textures and store icons, and they sit right at the top of the tier list. Pricier than your usual swords and pistols, and considerably meaner.

Tweaks

  • Day selection is no longer silent. Switching days in the lobby used to make no noise at all, even though picking chapters did

  • Plenty of fresh audio across the board, including a new ambience track

  • The Siren's pull finally announces itself

  • Taking damage has its own cue now

  • A round of general audio fixes on top

  • The ship you spawn on in Ship levels got a visual refresh

  • Headcrab nests dissolve more smoothly now, with no stutter

  • Steam status no longer flickers through Lobby, Session and Store while your friends watch. The whole tutorial now reads as Tutorial, including the store section between parts

  • Mouse Sensitivity no longer shows up in the settings while a gamepad is connected

Balance and level design

  • Headcrabs no longer kill you in a single hit, but their attack time is shorter now, so the damage lands faster and the web effect shows up sooner

  • Man in Shadows is far less merciless. Lower damage, so no more one shot kills, plus reduced chase speed and a shorter attack range

  • More time on the floor before you actually go down. Solo now gives you 25 seconds instead of 15, co-op stays at 15

  • Large objects are around 26% lighter to carry

  • A killed enemy no longer respawns instantly in the same spot

  • Enemies no longer get lost for good. That bug was why day 11 of the Mansion ended up sending nothing but Man in Shadows at you, while the rest of the mobs waited on a second the phase never reached

  • Solo store rebalanced, Rupor removed from it

Bug fixes

  • Doors no longer stick to the cart after you load a wardrobe door into it

  • The cart can no longer be used to shove NPCs around in the tutorial

  • Fixed the Headcrab nest spawn position

  • Voice on the open deck is working properly again. Teammates were inaudible even in plain sight, because the falloff curve cut off too abruptly

  • The booty slap sound now follows the booty instead of staying behind at its spawn point

  • Pirates no longer get stuck standing by the table forever

  • Siren knockback after an attack is back

That is not everything we have got lined up. Keep an eye on the store page tomorrow, because something is coming that will save you a whole lot of walking!! That is all we are saying for now.

Keep the reports coming, they are exactly what shapes patches like this one. You will find us in our Discord most days!

Sharper swords, softer monsters,

Community11 Sep 2026Our Window is Broken. The Work Isn'tAhoy, pirates. We love making games. We know exactly how to make Last Pirates better, and we work on it every single day. But some days, things get in the way. This morning a strike landed right next to our office in Kyiv. The window of the room where part of our team works is broken, the whole team is still shaken, and one of our colleagues was hurt, her arm is bandaged now. Everyone is alive,…Major update10 Sep 2026MAJOR UPDATE: The Statues Are Awake, and the Head Crab Has Changed ShapeAhoy, pirates! A new enemy, a monster rebuilt from the ground up, new toys, achievements, and a very long list of changes. Not everything valuable wants to be picked up One of them is already sitting in your levels. It looks like treasure, holds perfectly still, and waits for someone greedy enough to crack it open. What climbs out will grab you and drag you off, and only a friend can pull you l…Community10 Sep 2026Last Pirates: Die Together is Now Steam Deck VerifiedAhoy, pirates! We are happy to report that Last Pirates: Die Together is officially Steam Deck Verified .
