In our recent devlogs, we showed you how the broom and vacuum cleaner can help you deal with the mess left behind after renovations. But dust and rubble aren’t the only things you’ll have to clean up in Hotel Simulator.
Guests can leave a bit of a mess behind too. 😄
So it’s time to grab another essential tool for every hotelier — the trash bag! 🗑️

After your guests check out, you may find various pieces of trash left behind in their rooms. Before checking in the next guest or an entire family, it’s worth giving the room a thorough inspection and making sure it’s sparkling clean again. ✨
The trash bag will allow you to quickly collect any waste left behind and prepare the room for your next guests.
It can hold quite a lot, but not an unlimited amount — everything has its limits. 😉
Full trash bags will eventually need to be taken to the garbage chute, but when you decide to do that is entirely up to you.
And don’t forget about the trash bins in the rooms!
Guests will use them during their stay, so once they check out, it’s always worth checking whether the bins need to be emptied. A full trash bin definitely isn’t the best welcome for the next guest checking into your hotel. 😄
In Hotel Simulator, cleanliness will be one of the factors affecting your hotel’s rating.
So take care of your rooms, empty the bins regularly, and don’t leave any trash behind from previous guests — and your cleanliness rating is sure to stay high! ⭐
In future devlogs, we’ll show you more mechanics related to the day-to-day management and development of your hotel.
