Hi everyone!
Over the past 18 hours, I've been keeping a close eye on the community and pushed out nearly 10 small updates. Here's a summary of what's been changed.
1.Fixed a bug some players experienced where the mouse cursor would shake.
2.Changed the default video setting to windowed mode.
3.Fixed a bug where the Mech Primacy and Fleet Primacy company traditions weren't applying their unit price discounts.
4.Fixed a bug where joining a campaign battle would fail for both sides if you were hostile with the attacking faction.
5.Fixed a bug where the item purchase list would sometimes fail to appear when entering the Workshop.
6.Made the Sparring Contract mission a prerequisite for the Psionic Weapon mission. If you already recruited Barbara before completing the Sparring Contract mission, please don't bring her into combat during that mission, to avoid a softlock.
7.Changed the trigger date for Ending 8 to 30/12/C.E.29.
I've seen the frustration many of you have expressed. I'm sorry the original setting was too punishing, so I've pushed the deadline for triggering the bad ending back by a full year. Just update the game to experience the change.
In this game, we play as mercenaries. The protagonists can actively work to solve problems and help a faction achieve victory. Or they can drift with the current, hopping between factions purely for the rewards. But mercenaries without ideals will ultimately let the world slide toward ruin, and they will never be the protagonists of history. Even though many of you disagree with this design, I won't be changing it.
With the deadline extended, please go experience the true endings. I think it may change how you feel about this game.
Thank you all for your support of Chaos Front!
