It's a huge week next week, as we release 3 updates to Trash Goblin - a free tool for the base game, a paid DLC story expansion, and a cosmetic pack!
Of course we'll update you with all the details when we launch next week - May 7th for both the 1.5 update and the DLCs! - but for now take a look at the trailers, and read on for a little bit more!
The biggest thing about Maker's Fortune is that we've built in a brand new tool that expands the game from the first few hours all the way through to however long you want to play! "Recolouring" was something we had on our list of ideas from the very first day of development back in 2022(!?) so it feels great to be able to bring it to life for you now.
The Artist of Brimhaven DLC is a little bit of an experiment, and also a lovely 'what happened next...' piece of story content. We're just not sure what sort of DLC would delight the most players, so we started by thinking about the most popular characters and giving them more time to shine, plus offering a gameplay experience that takes what you know about Trash goblin and expands on it in an unexpected way - by letting you visit a District and then rebuild it!
We can't wait to see what you think when this releases on May 7th, and we'll be all ears when it comes to planning whatever DLC 2 might end up being.
Now then. We hit a bit of a milestone this week too!
Yup, quite the big number! We can't believe how far our little goblin game has gone, and really this is just the beginning! The whole team here can't thank you enough for all the love and support you've shown us, and we can't wait to see what the future holds 🥰🥰🥰
