Okay, here we are. For real this time.

The demo of Fame & Fear: Dungeon Architect is finally available.

It feels a bit strange to say that after all the time spent building rooms, placing traps, fixing monsters and, above all, trying to understand why every now and then an adventurer would decide to do something that made absolutely no sense.

But here we are.

Starting today, you can jump into the game and try building your own dungeon.

Dig, build, place treasure wherever you want, hire monsters, set up traps and then open the doors.

The adventurers will come. Some of them might even leave again… that part is up to you!

The important thing is not to go too far in either direction. At least, that's what I recommend. Feel free to build a hotel or a slaughterhouse!

The demo already contains what I consider the core of the game. You can build and manage your dungeon, go through the days, attract adventurers, grow your reputation, unlock new content and start finding out how good you are at running this questionable business.

The game is still in development, so some things will change, more things will be added and I'm sure you'll manage to break something… I'm counting on it, I think.

That's exactly why feedback is really important to me at this stage. If something doesn't work, isn't clear, feels unbalanced or you simply think something could be done better, let me know.

I've also opened a few official communication channels for the game, so there's now a place to collect feedback, bugs, ideas or simply talk about the dungeon.

You'll find all the links in the dedicated section below and on the Steam store page as well.

You don't need to write a ten-page review.

Even a simple:

“This sucks.”

is fine.

Maybe tell me why, though.

That helps.

Other than that, have fun.

Build something beautiful, or something terrible!

Possibly both.
