I'm one person, and this is my game. It came out this week, the reviews have been hard, and I have read all of them. This is what was wrong, what is fixed, and what I am working on now.
The description called the events "hand-written". That word is gone. It should never have been there, because the disclosure on the same page says the text was drafted with AI help, and both sentences cannot be true at once.
The AI content disclosure went live hours after release. It belonged on the page before anyone could buy the game. That is my fault, and no explanation changes what it meant for you: the information was not there when you paid. It now also names the music and the store artwork, which it did not at first.
If that is a dealbreaker, refund it. No hard feelings. The objection is fair, and I would rather you keep your money than feel misled.
This game asks you to read. Cutting the text would make it a different game, and that is the game I set out to make. What I can fix is how it is presented: where a screen starts, how it lines up, what stays visible while you think. That is the list above.
It was a bad launch. I am not walking away from it.
The AI objection is answered above, and I am not going to argue with anyone about it. But a score cannot tell me which screen you could not read, which system never made sense, or where exactly you put the game down. That is what I can turn into patches. Leave it in the comments under this post and I will work through them.
