At the start of the game, each of Poland’s neighbouring countries receives a stack of Country Coins. When your route connects two of these nodes, you’ll get a Coin from each one – so long as there are some left for you to take! Each Coin has a number marked on it, telling you how many points it is worth.
The Country Coins you gather during the game are added to your score at the end.
Along with a new map and gameplay mechanic, Ticket to Ride: Poland Expansion also includes two more original characters, locomotives and carriages:
Regina Kamińska – A talented make-up artist, Regina Kamińska makes her way all across Poland to accentuate the natural beauty of her clients!
Kacper Pawlak – Kacper Pawlak studies jazz by day, but by night, he is the energetic drummer of a band that performs all across the country!
The Copernicus – Named after one of the most famous Polish people in history, this train will change how you see the world!
Polonaise – Dance through Poland’s beautiful fields when you climb aboard the Polonaise. Enjoy the unique sound of the railway tracks as you go!
Orbiting Greatness – Chugging along behind your train, the Orbiting Greatness takes its duty seriously! It’ll get your cargo to your destination securely.
Kujawiak – Perfect for any passenger, the Kujawiak carriage moves with all the smooth elegance of the waltz-like traditional dance it is named after.
